| Necromancy and raising the dead really is a thing in this show.... I mean, it's a very classic idea to use in these type of fantasy anime but I felt less impressed. As expected, Light and his friends fought together as a party. Seems like one of those Monster of the Week type of episodes. |

| Literally only watching this for Lena. The MC gains God tier OP abilities from eating a skill fruit and is doing nothing with it. The necromancer girl is pretty though I must admit. She’s in the ED so I wonder if she’ll be a recurring cast member after this? Seems like the nun lady from last week is behind all of this somehow, maybe she’s the one who raised the dead since the necromancer can only control them? |

| I can't stand when they have their MCs just blank out and stare int he middle of battle, when they have to kill the undead, saying "I just killed a human?" or "Is this right?", leaving themselves open to being bitten or attacked, making someone have to save them. They are obviously not themselves anymore and releasing them from being undead so they can pass on is helping them, so there is no reason to question your actions or feel guilt, that only puts everyone else and yourself in danger. Then the male MC just stands around staring while the female MC does all the work, when they find even more undead in the house. Admiring her skills is good, but completely stopping in the middle of trying to stay alive is not good. Then he says "I can't just stand around" & "I won't hesitate anymore", duh, there was no reason for you to stop fighting. But leaving the young girl alone, put her in danger, and the female MC had to save her. Then they have the female MC hesitating and saying "I have to kill my mentors", when she killed the other undead earlier and said "rest in peace", because she knew that killing the undead released them from their suffering. They decide to stick in a "look back memory" in the middle of her fight, but this should have been placed earlier when she first saw that they were missing. Later showing her having the determination to save them from their suffering and releasing their souls, when she sees that they have become undead. They even have her motors' spirits assure her that what she is doing is not wrong, she already knows that, so that was a waste of a line, could have had him say "I am so proud of you" or something better. They wasted time out of the anime with this silliness, when they could have shown something more interesting. It would have been better if they showed the party fighting to survive the undead attack together and as their going through the house they find out more information. |

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |
| Shame to see enshittification of this show. Started of pretty strong, they dropped some balls the 2nd episode, now its just shitty writing and pacing. Repetetively dramatizes moral drama; we've just seen this, no lets make it drama again, oh no wait, now with this character. It becomes overkill, also inconsitency in character; trying to show weak resolve or more drama? Ehh... The pauzes are too fucking much; undead be chilling, no worries wont be killing. Why has the MC still not chomped down on a fuckton of fruits? Is the skill description unclear still even with an appraiser? Seems like a fucking massive plot hole to me. Hopefully this'll get resolved soon... |

| I don't say this as an insult but this show is amazing if you turn your brain off. Especially this episode going in to a spooky mansion and fighting past adventures and all the voice actors acting as least subtly as possible. If you think about the logic of the nun or what mc wants or why a child is just there or what sword skills they utilize and omit... nothing makes sense but if you're sleep deprived or drunk or sick or injured or high or had an awful day or watching this at faster speeds -> this really is a 10/10 show |

| his sword and the way he uses it just looks so awkward. using a Cinquedea for the MC's weapon just seems like an odd choice i mean the (sort of) rapier she uses looks longer than his stubby little sword. idk why i just find the way he uses it so unnatural and distracting for what it is. |
| This is actually crap, the entire thing about her having to kill her 2 adventurer friends was soo half assed it wasn't even funny. MAL won't even let me post a review yet to steer people away from this garbage. Easily worse than the majority of long named anime. |
| I feel for Lena man, she had to watch her friends who helped her all the way up being reduced to redhead's toys, absolutely despicable. Ayla too is so adorable man, girl just wants pizza, but was dancing in the ballroom for the redhead. Light, on the other hand, i understand him wanting to protect Ayla, but that ain't helping cuz bro just gonna stay on defensive. So i liked the 2 end-scenes; Firstly being the one when Light Piggybacked Ayla, to go absolutely pierce the hell outta redhead without a care in the world, instead of being on the defensive all the time protecting Ayla, so liked that he came up with such tactic midway through the battlefield dance, absolutely impressive, excited to see him actually do that next episode. And secondly, the holy sister looking at an eclipse happening right before her eyes, and she calls it a shadow devouring the moon? She drunk? She high? Idk what she on about but since it's the holy sister, guess i can expect her worst, since that's all she'd ever really done. Excited to see what they cooking for us! |

| I'd really like to say "what a tragic ending for her old friends", but the animation somehow removes the tension most of the time. Anyway, the MC should really eat a lot of fruits. P.S. That Nun really looks SUS. She's probably the one who ordered the death of the Fruitmaster. 3/5 Lena is so cool and pretty.  |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| The protagonist's group embarks on their first mission and immediately falls into an ambush. They discover that the so-called adventurers are actually dead and being controlled by a suspicious figure named Dratena. The action-packed animation is also hilarious. Lena's scene, where she gives her friends peace/rest, was truly moving. Now, Light is motivated more than ever. |

| @ShiroAlex like I say it mostly a problem of translation between languages because In my native languages ball and ball room is two very different words. It was a 'joke' but because the words is very different in my language it didnt make any sense to translate it directly as a ball. But even the conversation in English is sound very unnecessary to the moment Btw thanks for clarifying |

| If they really wanted to work with the 'fruitmaster' idea they'd have given him a weak or super situational second skill. He'd eat more fruit and have to figure out how to fight using a bunch of weird, weak, or super specific skills, rather than a pretty powerful glass cannon skill right away. But that would take effort and thought to write, rather than a power fantasy where he doesn't even take full advantage of the power. tl;dr meh |
| Apparently, eating the skill fruit gives you "extra chromosomes," and our fruit-master (or nut-master) is definitely a special case. He's easily one of the dumbest main characters this season. "Why are you attacking us?" (when the evil necromancer literally said she wanted to kill them), "Why are you attacking a child?" "Are you a coward?" he asks. What a clueless twat. This protagonist is ridiculously dumb, and I can’t stand it. |

| I don't understand how something this trash even gets made. Like, I get that a lot of anime exists to just push you to buy the manga, but that requires some part of the anime to be interesting. Someone spent actual money to make this garbage (not that you could tell by the animation.) People spent actual hours of their lives on this--and this episode at least would have been less awful if it had been a voiced slideshow of illustration panels. Honestly, I'd respect this more if it turned out to be an experiment or troll to see how long we would stick with something objectively awful. |

I can forgive a lot of nonsense in garbage cliche anime and can enjoy turning my brain off to watch and OP MC dominate, but this idiot makes it impossible. He should have thousands of skills by now buy only has 2. What a complete waste. |
